Dr. Nabarun Deb brings deep clinical knowledge and advanced technical expertise to every patient at DEB’s Audiology. His professional journey began at the Institute of Health Sciences, Bhubaneswar, where he completed his training in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology in 2012.
What makes his background unique is his experience as a trainer for Starkey Hearing Technologies, one of the world’s leading hearing aid manufacturers. In this role, he trained audiologists across India in hearing aid prescription, advanced programming, and managing complex fitting challenges. This exposure gave him a rare insight into what truly makes hearing aids successful – and what causes them to fail.
For Dr. Nabarun, successful hearing care is never about the device alone.
It is about thorough assessment, precise programming, and consistent follow-up.
His approach

Dr. Sarmistha Nayak brings a deeply thoughtful and holistic approach to hearing care. Like Dr. Nabarun, she completed her training at the Institute of Health Sciences, Bhubaneswar, and has spent over a decade in clinical audiology.
Her specialisation in vestibular assessment and balance disorders allows her to see the wider picture of hearing health. She understands that hearing loss, tinnitus, dizziness, and balance problems often coexist and affect daily functioning together.
Where many focus only on the ears, Dr. Sarmistha focuses on the person.
Her approach
Dr. Sarmistha believes successful hearing care begins with understanding. She conducts detailed 60–90 minute assessments, not because she works slowly, but because accurate diagnosis prevents trial-and-error treatment later.
She is especially known for:
