DEB's Audiology & Hearing Care
Visiting a hearing clinic for the first time can feel uncertain — especially if you’ve had a rushed or confusing experience before.
At DEB’s Audiology, your first visit is designed to be unhurried, clear, and reassuring. You’ll be guided personally by an RCI-certified audiologist, not sales staff, so you can understand your hearing properly and decide your next steps with confidence.
There’s very little you need to prepare.
Please bring:
If you wear glasses, bring them along — we’ll ensure comfort during testing.
Most importantly, come with your questions.
We encourage family members or caregivers to attend if that helps you feel more comfortable.
Your first visit typically lasts 60–90 minutes.
This allows us to understand your hearing properly — not just quickly.

This step is crucial, because:
We assess how well your eardrum and middle ear are working.
This helps identify issues such as:
Some of these conditions require medical treatment before hearing aids are considered.
You’ll understand:
You are never rushed through this discussion.
Once testing is complete, your audiologist will:
This happens more often than people expect.
You may be advised to:
We believe reassurance and clarity are just as important as treatment.
If hearing aids are appropriate for you, we will:
Sometimes the right recommendation is a simple solution, sometimes it’s more advanced,
and sometimes it’s not hearing aids at all, yet
There is no obligation to proceed.
If you choose to proceed, your care is guided step by step — calmly and thoughtfully.
We’ll help with:
Your hearing journey is gradual, and you’re supported at every stage.
Many people leave their first visit feeling relieved, either because their hearing is better than they feared, or because they finally understand what’s been causing the difficulty.
There is no pressure to decide anything immediately. You’re encouraged to take time, involve family, and move forward only when you’re comfortable.
Whatever the outcome, you’ll leave with clarity, honesty, and guidance — not confusion or sales pressure.
